17th Annual Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference

This workshop will be an in depth exploration of my Letters to a Teacher Unit. In this unit, students encounter a variety of rigorous sources on the topic of education and then engage in an authentic correspondence with a future teacher to offer their perspectives on what kind of teachers are needed in today’s schools. Participants will hear from Lincoln High School and graduate students who recently participated in the unit and receive access to resources.
