17th Annual Northwest Teaching for Social Justice Conference

Classroom conversations surrounding school shootings have been little to none, yet the threat of gun violence impacts every school in the United States. A report by Everytown for Gun Safety featured four key findings, leading us to create an activity about youth leaders working on gun safety. Participants will have a conversation about the impact of gun violence, discover inspiring youth activists like us, and learn about a call to action.

Join our Social Justice Healing Circle, a co-created brave space where we acknowledge and address pain points together. In this session, participants will be heard, affirmed, and supported as we walk through the process of healing and empowerment. Through open dialogue and mutual respect, we aim to foster a community of understanding and resilience.
