About me
Isabel Carrera Zamanillo is the community education coordinator at Front and Centered, incorporating principles of grassroots just transition and popular education in community-centered experiential learning opportunities for frontline communities across Washington State. As a Mexican immigrant, her diverse experiences in academia and non-profit and community-based organizations in Mexico and the United States, shape her vision of more inclusive and culturally responsive learning spaces beyond institutional settings, incorporating the interests of those often marginalized by the system.
